Configure the credentials for discovery and monitoring and to remotely access your IT infrastructure.

To configure a credential:

  1. Click Setup. The ACCOUNT DETAILS page is displayed.

  2. Click the Credentials tile on the ACCOUNT DETAILS page. The CREDENTIALS page is displayed.

  3. Click +ADD. The CREDENTIALS form is displayed.

  4. Select the credential type from the Credential Type drop-down list.

  5. Provide values in the fields like Name, Description, User Name, Password, Confirm Password.
    Note: The fields vary based on the Credential Type you select.

  6. Click Save. The Credential is saved and displayed in the list.

You can perform the following actions after configuring a credential:

SearchTo search for a credential:
  • Click the search icon on the credential listing page.
    Alternatively, select a credential type from the All Types drop-down list box.
  • Type the credential name in the search box. The search result is displayed.
View and EditTo view or edit a credential:
  • Click the action icon that appears when you hover over the credential name, and click View.
  • Make the necessary changes and click SAVE. The credential is saved.
RemoveTo delete a credential:
  • Click the action icon that appears when you hover over the credential name, and click Remove.
  • From the confirmation dialog box, click REMOVE to delete the credential.

You can view the number of credentials on the CREDENTIALS tile on the ACCOUNT DETAILS page.
